Hello - I bought a caravan in "great condition" registered as a "1980 Lowline" which clearly it is neither. Can anyone help me date this Viscount Duralvan? Are the rivets clearly visible on the side view original? Thank you in advance. Exterior 1Exterior 2Interior 1Interior 2

Do you have a chassis number at all? A member here keeps a register of Viscount numbers and will be able to narrow this down pretty well. Based on the interior and colour of the stripe on the outside - which are both identical to mine, I'd be guessing 1968 or 1969.
By rivets do you mean the catches down the front and back in a line? These would be for the awning sides to attach to and yes, probably original.
Lovely van. 👍😊

The dynamic twin flash (lightning flash) paintwork was used between 1968-1971 approx and I can just make out the older decal above your front window which changed during 1970 to Royal so your Viscount Duralvan is approx 1969, give or take. (I'm the member with the register) Cheers Shelley
