Hi all, It has been a number of years since I have posted on the site but I still see some familiar names You may remember the couple of photos that I posted back then of my near mint original 71 Viscount? Well the time has come to part with our beloved caravan. To refresh memories my parents purchased new in 1971. It has been stored in a shed all of its life being cleaned before our annual 4 week Christmas holidays at Warrnambool, Victoria and then cleaned again before being re-shedded until the next Christmas. The aqua stripes on the van matched my dads 1971 Holden Kingswood. I have owned & cared for the van for the past 6 years after the passing of my father. It is registered and apart from the odd minor stone dent, is still in the same amazing condition now as the day that I took possession. My wish is that it goes to a lover of classic caravans. The caravan is in Ballarat Victoria. This van is in pristine original condition. 1971 Viscount C Royal - Chassis number 5095A. Comes with: - Original caravan with receipts & detailed order form.
- Original 1st registration receipt.
- The van came new with 12volt lighting system as well as 240volt.
- Original annex with receipts. Walls & flooring in excellent condition, roof in average condition.
- Matching external window covers (See photos).
- TV antenna and mast.
- Light truck tyres in good condition.
- Original ride levelling coupling & bars.
- Caravan cover.
The only non original things on the van are: - 12volt & 240volt LED globes
- Front annex pole PVC tube (bolted on and easy to remove).
- Front wind down jacks.
