Hi
Does anybody know if it is legal in Q.L.D to use a Hutchison Caravan Dolly on our caravans to tow?
TIA

G'day rocketrod, People don't have any issues with using them in NSW (where I am) and in Victoria. Vintage caravanners from both States have been known to use them without attracting the attention of the "law". Biggest drawback to the Hutchison Dolly wheels is when trying to reverse the caravan. Owners say they are good when travelling forward, but a real pain in the @#$% when trying to reverse. Why not get yourself another project, and find a Viscount with a Jones Dolly Wheel on it? The wheel swivels, so it does the job going forward and backwards... You know you want one! cheers, Al.

They would be a good thing for modern caravans, they would eliminate the towball weight issue some cars suffer..
Is this one for sale Al..
