Can anyone please help me , I bought what I think is a 1976 Viscount 16ft van with number T61545. Is this number correct for the year , I cannot find anywhere a caravan that looks the same as mine and can’t work out what model it is? Thanks so much

T61545 doesn't sound right for a Viscount. Could that T be an R or S by chance? For mid 70's Viscounts the second letter will indicate the year. Also there could be an id tag, about the size of a matchbox, tack welded under the chassis just forward of the door and about 40cms in from the outer wall - near where the A frame is welded to the front cross members. Also try the Viscount fb page for more detailed info on chassis numbers. Cheers & good luck. Arthur

T series were the Viscount Rangers, I think they were only made in 1975-77, there was a photo of one on page 1 of this thread but unfortunately it has gone the way of most of the other pics. The Ranger is quite a different shape to other Viscounts of the time

Ah yes, I forgot about the Ranger series. My bad! They couldn't use R as a prefix in the chassis number because it was already taken by the Royal?
