just got back from the meet ,after a little detour to canberra, at the meet i met some very inspirational people , like joe and maureen vavra, and other dedicated vanners
although i lost a part of my 4 season hatch on the way my capricorn van received positive comments from all , this encouraged me to put the for sale shingle out , as was my intention from the start i had, what i considered a fair price, one IIIIIII was happy with,, others thought i was devalueing their vans,,, and this resulted in a sale, hence the trip to canberra to deliver the van, while overnighting in the showgrounds i broke the locking knob on the front cover,,, sorry garry,,i had to go to wagga wagga anyway, so a few more k,s did not matter , then back to adelaide over the snoweys the sale of the van enables me to satisfies, THE BUG, that i aparently have caught, and buy another van in need of SOME work joe,s and maussies tuitorials will be a handy guide we enjoyed the meet , and will, when we have the opportunity with another van , attend again well done to the organisers

Hi Joe, I think we met on Saturday morning at Wang. I remember you talking about your unfortunate episode with the hatch. We were in the purple & white Viscount selling old caravan parts. Good to hear about your sale! It was a fantastic event and worth the trip. Bit sad there weren't more classics participating. I think I saw about 6 or so. Looking forward to the next one, wherever that may be? Cheers, Arthur

Congratulations on the sale. Dont sweat on the $$ bit you found a buyer and your happy. Joe n Mausie told me about it.
Your correct, not many Classics but the good bit, there were some there. Till next time.

We haven't quite made it home yet, catching up with family.
It was our first event and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Met some lovely people and saw great vintage and classic vans.
Looking forward to the next event.
cheers Nick
