G'day Jodie, and welcome to the forum! Forum member shelley keeps a database of Viscount chassis numbers in a Facebook group (I think it's this one: www.facebook.com/viscountcaravans/ ). According to her spreadsheet, your chassis number would fit into 1972. She has records of 4829E and 5166E being both from 1972. The cladding would have originally been white with a coloured stripe pattern on the sides. The plain silver aluminium cladding was discontinued during 1969, a couple of years before yours was built. cheers, Al.

Welcome to the forum. 😊 Everyones great here, we'll be gentle. As mentioned it would have been white in 72 but yes, a yellow stripe was common then. The stripes would have looked different to what you have currently too. My Viscount is a 71 so colour scheme etc could have been similar. Thread on mine is if you want to look - ditzygypsy.proboards.com/thread/3060/gavs-new-viscount-vanWith Flickr, you're almost there. With each photo, click on the little arrow that goes up and to the right, then copy the BB code and paste that entire link here. Like this - 1972 14ft Viscount Ambassador by Jodie Martin, on Flickr
