The "Classic vans" that I'm aware of that attended the Vintage Nationals at Wangaratta were: Captivenut's 1976 Viscount Nickd15's Travelhome Joe and Mausie's Capricorn Birdie Deluxe Joe de limberger's Capricorn Birdie Bob and Jacqui's 1983 Olympic fibreglass caravan The gold Viscount Honeymooners 'special' that is either a 1969 or 1970 model (can't think of the owners names) The 1973 Viscount that was over near the cabins. This van is the owner's "everyday" van, which his son and the son's girlfriend were towing and staying in for the very first time. The owner had a Kennedy vintage van also at Wangaratta which he was staying in. So, that's six, or possibly seven, vans from the Classic era that attended. Not a bad effort I think. cheers, Al.

There also was a 1986 Olympic fibreglass Riviera and a 1977 Quest as well. Warren

"woowoo" is a 'her'. She's the partner of the fella that owns both this and the Vintage forums. His previous partner started this Classic forum back in 2007 after seeing there was sufficient interest in vans from the 1970s. The previous partner's nickname was 'Ditzy' and she liked the life of a gypsy, hence the proboards web address of 'ditzygypsy'.
Both the forum owner, Mark, and his partner woowoo (real name Wendy), have taken a back seat in the day-to-day administration of the forums, but are still available behind the scenes.
cheers, Al.
