HI All,
I have a MILLARD Camper Trailer 1985 Model. There is a bottom crank that is the original from the older model and it is easy to turn to wind up or down. There is another crank further up which is much more accessible and is the one that gets used. It connects to the bottom crank ,which is the main drive to the wifel tree by means of a cog and chain. This unfortunately is much harder to wind up. I would be grateful if anyone could suggest a way of fixing this. I have already pulled apart the assembly and cannot see an obvious problem.
Regards , Prento

I can only guess at what it looks like so check to see if there is play in the shaft as it may be binding under pressure or if a gear setup at bottom could also be worn enough to cause gears twist and to bind when pressure put on chain cog. but what may get a much more informed answer from people is a few photos some one may have en-counted a similar problem on something else and have a answer for you.
