I am in Lismore, NSW & have a Hi-Lite van in reasonable original condition with an excellent period Annex. It is listed on Gumtree as '1980 Other' for Photos.
All in good condition, reasonasbly watertight, with excellent pop-top mechanism & canvas. Internal looks to be in good condition & would restore easily. External paint is passable, but aluminium skin is pretty good. You can contact me on 0408 then 480904.
The only thing not working is the gas: the original stove is there, but the external reg & hoses are perished. I hope it goes to a good home. The lights work, & it is towable, so could go home on a permit, or register it first (It would pass I think). Last registered in QLD.
btw, this is the classic early layout internally: Double bunks in the front, & table/bed in the back. All the cupboards etc are in excellent condition.
$3500 (or really close CASH offer!)
