G,day Classic Caravaners. I have been trying to get this thread up for a couple of days which just shows my computer skills. I have to admit my Granddaughter sorted it out for me so down to the nitty gritty. I recently purchased the van shown below and working towards NSW Rego. Chassis needs a bit of work which I can handle. My other problem is ID for rego and this is where I hope you Guys can help me out. The stickers say Millard but a couple of people have mentioned Franklin and York as possibles. There are no plates or any ID I can find except for the s/n weld on the drawbar. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I love your forum and I am sure I will be chasing 
  advice regularly.

Hi colwilson 47,
Your van is a Newlands,not to be confused with the current Newlands vans made by Concept Caravans.
Your model is the budget version from about 1970 or 71, called the camp master,it has a different shape to the standard Newlands with front and rear top rolls.
This model was made to be more aerodynamic,but it seemed the public preferred the " bumpy" model!
Haven't we had this conversation before on another site?

And thanks from me Hughdeani. I don't know of any other sites and only had the van a couple of weeks. Looks like I'll have to get new stickers made up and some of the paint job will definitely change. Any ideas on where I can get info on Newlands Cheers

Only info you will find is on here down history lane.
Send me a pm and I will see what I can find for you.(I must have had this conversation with the previous owner on another site,I remember the Millard stickers,but the owner didn't believe me!)
