I am after the single pane rear window frame to suit my ambassador. Here is a pic I unashamedly linked from a VV member to show the window (not the highlighted part)

Being a flat pane I would think any glazier could do it or maybe get a sheet of perspex cut to size

I am assuming you want to replace the Double Opening window at the back of the Ambassador.
Providing there is a lip just purchase a sheet of 3mm polycarbonate flat sheet and a H section of Auto windscreen rubber, or if not how about using the frame of the old window frame and make a lip from aluminium plate/sheet around the inside of the frame to take the rubber.
From memory the rear window on my old 65 Ambassador the rubber was fitted directly to the Aluminum Skin.
PS why do want to remove an opening window and make it fixed ??.
Just a thought

Thanks guys... so your saying theres no window frame that the rubber/perspex sits on? Would it be too much flex just relying on the skin?
The window is not the right fit for the ambassador, basically the design allows water to pool at the corner base. I thought drilling another drain hole on the window pane frame would help (see an old post of mine). I cant see how water can drain from there, plus there are other thinks that aint right so I am thinking easier to replace with a solid like original. As for ventilation, theres more than enough with the two side windows so I am not concerned about it.
If anyone has such a window on their van I would love to see photos (close ups) on how it all fits together, this way I can possible make one as you guys suggest.
Edit - I rememberd that the top corners of the cladding are squared off (naturally to fit the window frame) so not sure how I would be able to fit a solid window given the frame is at the edge of the skin. Need to think more on this...

I know it sounds simplistic but if you do not require the ventilation from being able to open the existing windows but are concerned with them leaking why not sika them up fullyjust open them run a bead of sika right around the inside and close and lock the windows job done no leaks and looks original

I have made a little mod on the window. Basically, looking at the window frame, there was no protruding section to let water run out so I have done this mod and see if that's enough to let the water drain away.
