Hi everyone, I've been checking out your site for a bit while coming to grips with my little project, so I thought it time to share my experiences so far & hopefully get some much appreciated advice to help me along the way.
We acquired "Bridget" a few months back, she had been sitting idle for about 5 years after being used as an on site home for many many years??.
Since arriving (on the back of a truck) I have spent more than my fair share of time on my back & knees attending to her substantial undercarriage.
Work so far includes rubbing back, treating & painting the chassis, replacing all the running gear including springs, hubs & bearings as well as replacing the 2 x hydraulic brakes with 4 electric ones. The water tanks have been replaced as have the running lights
The draw bar was only just recoverable, but with a lot of grinding, welding & more grinding all seems ok
I am now up to the window refurb stage prior to painting, something that seems to require a lot more knowledge than I have, which is why I have had found the information & advice on this site so helpful!!
So the fun has only just begun!

Welcome beaker, 'my little project' I guess if you compare painting The Sydney Harbor Bridge with a rejuvenation of your not so small caravan it would fit the 'little' aspect well.
We like pics on here. So please share
