Hi ladies and gentleman.
Just recently bought a 1980 milard poptop caravan. Got the taillights to work but looks like theres issues with the earth somewhere. How do I get to the wiring harness? Looks like original wiring so thought I might just pull them all out and replace.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Thats a brave move. The wiring will run thru the inside of the rear wall so if your going to attack the internal or external cladding you will have easy access. Not a lot of cavity space between the inner and out wall.

My past experience was with the connections on the light fittings being a little dodgy so check all the connections first.
