We have just become the new owners of a 12.5 ft 1975 Pedigree, got it for free but it needs quite a bit of work.
The previous owners went separate ways and neither wanted it. They started to do some work on it taking out the table and chairs and bed and did a rather bad job of taking out the hatch, it had a tarp covering it but had blown back so the insides got pretty wet. So first up we need to put on a whole new roof then we can tackle inside in our own time. The new inside panels they had put in need to come out cause they have gone mouldy and swollen in parts, floor needs replacing cause it's a bit spongy in the doorway, bottom cupboards have swollen and rotted but on the good side it has a nice little Smev mini oven and cook top which i'm toying with the idea of putting it in the Duralvan. The fridge i think is just 240v and not sure if it works because i am not game enough to plug the power into the house, maybe we should run it on the generator first.
I sort of pushed hubby into it thinking of the end result but i plan on doing the majority on the inside myself (he actually want to use it for the chook house instead) it certainly won't be a short term project except for the roof and lucky enough to be on acreage so there's plenty of room to put it.
Considering the Duralvan is still getting worked on maybe i have taken on a job bigger than i originally thought would be.
