Welcome to the forum, it is going to be fun restoring this beauty. Which vehicle you are you using to tow it?

As an aside weigh what you break out to compare with weighing what you build back in. These things were amazingly light for the time, many under 2ton from looking around at old rego on a few i have looked at for sale. Looking inside to see heavy full size replacement 1980s fridges and stoves plus the odd furniture upgrades, i am sure those examples would be closer to 2.5-3ton

A 100 series land cruiser will pull this big guy. So many ideas and directions to go, where to start?

Yes, a 100 series will pull it easy. One thing that you have to take into consideration when restoring this van and any van for that matter is how much weight the chassis can handle. Just because it is big it does not mean that will take more than 400 kg or so above the original designed weight. Try to find out the specs of it before you start.

Trying to find any info I can. I'm finding it tough to pin point it. I'm gonna go give it a closer look over on the weekend.
