I need to use a weight distribution hitch on my Magna to tow the Franklin Arrow. Have any of you use this kit and it is any good? Ther are many over $300 and $600 as well but I think that are an overkill for the Magna/Franklin Camec Weight Distribution KitCheers

Haven't used a Camec one but it looks almost identical to the ones I have.
It is targeted at lower ball weights. I'd suggest that you make any repairs and modifications you intend to make, load the van up, then weigh it before you make a purchase.

looks identical to the intermediate hayman reece setup available locally. You'll find buying one locally without postage ( used ) will be far cheaper than trying to buy anything in from the USA

Thanks guy for the inputs, Sean, if this Camec size it is to small I have to get a different towing vehicle. I found one for $148.00 HERE but freight costs is $105.00 !!! Hi gitano
I have a 11 ft Millard poptop that I tow with a crew cab ute with an atm of 750-800kgs and I use THESE and this fixed all our issue's. We were told by a number of people we did not need to fit these bars, so I'm glad I tried them.
The bars will move up to 70kg of weight from your tow ball and put it on to your front wheels. These bars are super easy to fit, I would recommend you ask anyone you know who has a caravan if they have a set and fit them to your car and van(everything just bolts/clamps on) and give them a try.
Also keep an eye out in Gumtree I have seen these bars sell for $50 or less just need them to be near you.
Cheers

Unless it's a Magna wagon, they haven't quite soft rear ends. So he'll need a WDH. The wagons had two stage springs at the back, so handled towing better ( my father and grandfather have towed with Magnas running on LPG for probably 30years).

Thank you all, I managed to get one from the local shop for $176.00 which it is a good value and at the same time I support a local business that not charge over the top. I cannot get any used tow bar locally (new they quoted me just under $900 I will get one form Victoria for $150.00 plus freight.
