Many people seem to focus on the pulling power of the tug and don't have much concern about towing stability. I also use a single cab alloy trayback ute as a tug. It's a 3ltr V6 Navara. It's got heaps of pulling power but my main concern is that when the ute tray is empty it's very light in the ass. So when I'm not carrying any cargo in the tray I restrict my towing weight to 900kgs to be on the safe side. Towing any van with a light ass vehicle could result in a 'tail wagging the dog' scenario? Stay safe! Cheers, Arthur
