help me find information about my van

Hi, 

I purchased my first van this year and was told it was a Viscount Silvan circa 1983. However i have been searching and cant find any information on this particular van.

The number on the draw bar as partly been welded over, it reads V4 026.  The interior is fitting with very early 80's late 70's. It has wind out windows evident in the viscounts of the late 70's.  

I have also been told that Silvan made vans in 1978/79. 

is it possible for someone to verify for me.

The quick way to work out the year and what model it is, will be by putting up some photo's of it. Also have a read "HERE" plus follow any of the links in that thread but do not ask any question in there, just come back to here.

As stated on the other site your van is a Silvan.
As for the windows,all caravan manufacturers used them in the seventies until now,as were all other components,that's why to the uninitiated all caravans look like a Viscount or Franklin.
