Someone mentioned "Trip Reports"

Hi

I don't remember in which thread it was mentioned, but I think   one of our long time members mentioned maybe we need a trip report area/topic/thread.

Could it be easily added to the Classic Social section, I think this could be a good idea

I have just checked the members list and see we only have one Moderator to control this crazy wild bunch of lunatic's  and I believe he is travelling at present.

I have also tried contacting MarkT but as yet no response..  re a Facebook page.

If you look in the "Vintage Vanners Hall of Fame" you will find records of members trips.

So if you have a trip you want to post perhaps you can start it in our "Hall of Fame"

I have only recently started looking into the VV forum and noticed it is setup differently to us on CC, which I think is a good thing.

Our HOF - I believe is setup to show members vans being restored or recycled(my new pet word, it will catch on)  while your correct the VV forum is for members trips and reports. I don't think there is one trip report in our HOF as that section does not look to be set out for it. Plus I don't wish to mix topic's and threads.

I will just keep putting them down in the Who,what etc etc area

Hey L..

In the time I have been on here we have only ever had one do a 'big' trip in a classic (kiwijim) Where that thread is now.. I have no idea. Maybe if he pops up on here he might tells us.

A couple of others have posted about the odd day or week away but nothing of what I would call significant in comparison to what you will find on the VV forum. I was a member of the VV forum long before I appeared on here.

I cannot speak for others but if I created a new thread everytime I went away I would be creating one every month the majority of which I am confident would just bore everyone..

If you want to find kiwijim's trip around the block, go into members and click onto kiwijim's recent threads you will find it. It's well worth a look.
