G'day nathwill, and welcome to the forum! Your best bet is to read through the Viscount history thread in our Museum section. You'll need the chassis number to work out the year (and whether it's a Royal or Supreme model). Look for the number on the drawbar just next to the jockey wheel/clamp somewhere. You'll be looking at 1973 or later with those wind-out windows in it. cheers, Al.

Thank you Al . I found the chassis number today R4 4325 . The R4 are welded much larger than the 4325 . I'm going to look at the section you told me to look at now . Once again Thank You .

So the R4 4325 , I am guessing stands for Royal 1974 number 4325 . While looking for the chassis number I did notice a very faint Viscount sticker on the front . I'm going to get a ladder and damp cloth to see if I can get a better look and picture . I have not bought it yet but I'm thinking if I don't save her now . A piece of Australian History will be going to the scrap yard . There is a lot of work to do to her and as you can see a door is missing and boarded up . I will take a pic of inside and show you . It is full of rubbish . Fingers crossed I can save her and get her on the road .
