Hi Peter
I have no idea what or why you have that problem as I don't own a Franklin but I can tell you that on my Millard, nothing is square everything is out sometimes only a few mills and other times almost a cm.
Hope you find an answer
Cheers

Peter Hi. From what I can see in the photos, the timber looks new.
1) Have you tried using some clamps to close the gap before you screw it in place? 2) Is the measurement across the top the same as the bottom and middle? 3) How much gap do you have around the window - is it a tight fit all the way around? 4) How far from the window opening does the outside cladding reach?
Can you include a photo of the whole window opening & wall? Ted
