That is pretty amazing,
And had me looking at the numbers, but the true numbers are not so good...
I went and looked at the members list and there are 50 to a page, so then if you click on the top of where it says when last on, the list will change and show you who is logged on the forum at that moment and as you go down the list it changes to minutes then hours and days, well within 3 pages or 150 members it was over a month, that was the last time they were on. Of those 3 pages look at how many had either only 0 or 1 post and had not posted again.
The members who are most active at the moment would be about 30 I'm guessing but the forum is very popular in the search engines so we see a lot of people join asked a question or 2 and vanish, which is a shame. But it will be interesting to see how many are on the list at the next membership clean up.
Cheers
PS I found this will now go and check the numbers again

In some ways it is good to delete the inactive etc, a forum i have moderated for over 10 years, in 3 incarnations/owners, shows nearly 65,000 members haha, mostly 5-10 post daily & about 2k are active lurkers.

Gday guys Yes I suppose it wont be long till Bobt (our global moderator) will be along to clean up the forum a bit ! From memory last June it reduced numbers by about 200 or so . I suppose its hard to get a feel for how many members drop in as many don't always log in due to the fact that most of this forum is visable without logging in ( I know that this is the case with me ) . It is interesting that many times you can look at the online counter and see that 20 odd people may be viewing the site however this is with no members online (or are they ?) I think that there seems to be more interest in these old classic vans ( I know this is true as at the moment I'm scouring the state of Queensland for old 70-80s pop top caravans in good condition to buy one myself and seriously if they are good and you are not quick then you miss out ....that is why I'm off to Bris vagas on Monday morning to view 3 that are really worth looking at . On the other hand there are plenty of renovators delights online ....I cant believe the price some people think their showers on wheels (sorry leaky caravans) are worth up here Yes If I'm successful I'll post some photos guys (after I've bought it of course ) Cheers Andy

gidday guys
yep your spot on the 1200 is a little off the mark of the number that actually post on a regular basis. I will get to have a look and remove some

This is usual for any forum. Every couple of months you go through the members list and if they haven't logged on in over 6 months it is likely they won't be back. All sorts of reasons.
Life has a habit of interfering with out leisure time and hobbies. Was one of those jobs I never really liked.
Did notice we are about 1/3rd of our sister forum VV.
cheers Atog

Hey Bobt I do drop in from time to time, but don't often log in these days. Having finished my van some years ago, I've taken up other hobbies. Great to see you going strong. Atog

Atog G'day ATOG, I'm afraid I'm in the same boat as you, a heap of postings in the past while rebuilding the old THOMSON but, having sold that and now owning a modern square box there's not much to write about, Times may change and another Classic could appear on the front lawn, then I'll be back with a vengeance . Cheers for now kiwijim
