OK the wife has decided she does not want the timber look in our van so we will be painting the existing walls and due to some water ingress some and/or part of the wall panels will be replaced. Bunnings have some 3mm ply "premium" would this be ok to use for the walls in the van ?
Cheers

Yes it is, if you are going the paint the existing panels inside you must first use a special sealler as i have used in ours check out my thread in HALL OF FAME , the sealler is expensive but works Regards Peter

The ply $unnings Sell is an imported ply and if using on flat surfaces should be fine however if the ply needs to be tightly curved then I suggest a local Ply as they bend in a tighter radii than imported ply.

Well I have been in contact with a "local" company and they have stated to me the exact opposite - that there ply is not made for van's or to be bent ! And that most of the van manufactures are getting there produces direct from overseas (you guess where)...a very interesting conversation.

Marine grade ply is what I'd use or hard timber, if need a radius bend smoke it or steam .
