After 25 years this Franklin Statesman was used as a bedroom, built into the verandah of a house under cover since 1987 - 2014, this Franklin Statesman van - I have finally registered it to set it FREE!!! After replacing springs, wheels, tyres, brake pipes, hoses, wheel cylinders - all the running gear! Removed "4 season roof hatch" to reseal 'n replace some fly screens there, I have replaced window plastic corner moulds to prevent leaking with laser cut aluminium copies. Repaired all other fly screens. It has taken me 5 months of enjoyable restoration with challenges + keeping it retro!! I have a lot of retro bit's 'n pieces to add to the inside to keep the theme. Can't wait for the first trip!!! Franklin van named "Frankie Laine"
