G'day all, as a recent newby on this site to my liking I don't see enough updates/questions to keep it interesting at any time of the day - I have been a constant "forumite" on a similar site "http://www.exploroz.com/Forum/Default.aspx" for the past 7 years. It has "run on" topic's without "pidgeon holing" them off page - any casual lookers on this site do see the same basic page as previous as other extra comments have been "pidgeon holed" when I think it would be better to see them added & stacked to "run on" on this general page! The first 9 posts on the "General Board" posts now should/could be repositioned to clear the top for "fresh posts" as they are added to run on. just a suggestion to keep our common interest fresh & current. hoo roo

The way I use this site is I scroll down to the third last section on the front page then click on recent posts. I think you will find what you're looking for if you approach the site this way. There are usually several interesting posts each day. There is no flexibility for the moderators as to how the site appears, it is up to Proboards.

I use it the same way as annieoakley. There is a lot of information on this site. I read the daily posts for info and to help others by answering questions if I know the answer. This is the only forum I've spent time on.

The only real difference is that our index page sorts into areas THEN you look at the recent posts there. On the index view there is the"new"tab so you can see new posts have been made. When you go to an area the only "perceived clutter", you may wonder about are pinned threads. From my own use in my brief time here they were of interest or actually where i landed when googling for relevant Franklin material, after initially landing on & joining the VV site first. Regardless of the "skin"of a forum the basics are the same, for example.. www.mediaspy.org/forum/index.php?/forum/98-television/forums.sailinganarchy.com/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=new_posts&search_filter_app[forums]=1forums.auscelebs.net/index.phpIf you excuse my spam & links. In reality the format that Exploroz uses can be much harder to quickly find relevant stuff rather than just current chit chat topics, merit in both i guess but sub forums are my preferred style on various sites for instant access via the index page to an interest.
