G'Day All, I found these real Classics on the INTERNET the other day, If they were around today, they would sure make great tow vehicles for our CLASSIC CARAVAN'S. ;D ;D they definitely bought back memories of the good old days when life seemed to be a never ending fun time of Summer days at the beach, ;D ;D ;D Cruising with the top down and the A.M. radio roaring flat out, playing BILL HALEY"s Rock around the clock and ELVIS with his Teddy Bear. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Who was worried about the price of fuel, "hell fill ER up" it was only 2s.3d for Standard fuel and 3s.2d for Super and that was a gall Dreams cost nothing. ;D ;D living in the past .......kiwijim

Hi Kiwijim,
Certainly brings back memories.
We were married in 1966 and our wedding car was a black Chevy with the gull wing boot lid, 63 I think. Our daughters wedding car was a Black 57 Chev saloon and our son's only car for a number of years was a Deep Blue Compact Fairlane.
I still play around with / restore Classic cars and Caravans. Must have caught the Nostalgic Bug.
Cheers,
techron

Love the '59 coupe. Had a sedan once, wished it looked as good the one you posted kiwijim. Sold it to buy my first caravan. The boot lid reminded me of an aircraft carrier, it was big enough to land a plane on... ;D ;D Always wanted a 50's ford always seem to end up with chevs.... go figure
