Hi I recently bought my first caravan. It is in not so great shape but it is a project I'm ever so excited about. I just don't know what kind it is. After I little bit of digging I think it's a viscount made sometime in the 70s. It has a kitchen up the door end with a window over the sink and lift top over the gas cooker, two single beds with a set of drawers in between them which has a drop down table top attached to it, one large back window and on the side wall opposite the side you enter on it has one large square window and two square windows on the door side, the door opens up to reveal another screen door, you enter facing a pantry like cupboard with storage drawers I think underneath and the exterior is basically metal with a 4 inch stripe of colour halfway which goes all the way around the van... Like a belt would on a person to get a better idea.
I am hoping to convert the two singles into a double and also have a single bed above that as a bunk laying in the opposite direction... If it's even possible. I'd love to find an image of one in near to original condition if possible to replicate the style. Also if anyone has done up one like the one I have please feel free to give me some tips on what kind of fridge to put in it and where.... I don't seem to see a spot for one in mine! All info or advice is greatly appreciated, thank you
