G'day Norm, I bought the spiral bound version of the "Camps 6" book off ebay about 18 months ago, and it shows there are 46 free-camps listed between Kiama (south of Wollongong) and Eden. I don't know how many of those would be on the water, but I imagine a fair few of them would be.
Camps 7 is the current edition of the free-camp book. Search ebay for Camps 7 Australia and you'll see them listed there. Best investment you can make, if you're keen on free-camping when travelling. You can either buy-it-now for $52 including postage, or try your luck bidding on one of the other listings being auctioned. These books retail for up around $80 in shops, so ebay is a cheap way of getting them.
cheers, Al.

Thanks Al, I have camps 5 - might be time to update! I tend to like to hear from "local knowledge" as you don't have to compete so much as with the books, thanks again, norm
