We totally rebuilt the inside , we estimated that it would cost about $10,000-00 but it blew out to nearly double that , we always have a lot of interest when we take her out

Well Johno it is magnificant. You should be proud. I can easily believe that you blew your budget, that does tend to happen with most renovations/restorations car/house/caravan. Unless of course your well experience at it with several under your belt. So how long did it take you? have you had it out much? where have you taken it? What are you towing it with? Tell us more.. bobt

Hi johno Very nice looking van you have there. I have a 1978 supreme 16ft 6 in van and would love for mine to be that nice inside. How did the total weight end up was it lighter or heavier than the old configuration. It would be a pleasure to stay in when on holidays that's for sure. Where did you get the cabinets from? Were they made to suit or were they off the shelf? Thanks for the pics very inspiring that's for sure. Regards Supreme 78

Wow Johno, you have done a brilliant job. Did you re clad the van or gave it a new paint job. Well done, a real top job.

Hi Johno, fantastic looking van, awesome job! Can I get some details about the paint job? Did you DIY and if so, what type of paint did you use? We're just about to get a start on our first caravan purchase, a 78 Viscount & could do with some pointers. I love your choice of seat coverings, I almost purchased the same pattern myself on the weekend but changed my mind at the last minute and went with a more practical (aka kid friendly) darker colour. Looking at how good your seats came up I'm almost regretting my decision
