G'day, I'm new to this forum. I just picked up at 18ish Foot franklin caravan I am unsure of its year or type. this caravan was a onsite van at a caravan park and had a aluminium annex attached to it. From what I can tell on the A frame there are the numbers 549-8, The van is single axle. Any additional information would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance. :-)

G'day shane, and welcome to the forum! Your van is a Franklin Caravelle, and the chassis number decodes to mean it's the 549th Franklin chassis built in 1968 (the last digit 8 is the year-of-manufacture number). You can also search our sister forum for information relating to Vintage caravans built before 1970: Vintage caravanscheers, Al.
