Hello, I have never owned a caravan before and I have just bought one with my fiancé and my mum. My boss bought it as a Smoko hut for another worker but they never used it so it just sat there. On Friday he announces that he's selling it and offered it to me cheap as chips. I call the fiancé knowing he will want it and mum cause she has always wanted one. I am proud to announce i have a Caravan Crush on what I think is a 1975 Franklin Arrow. Chassis number is W5577. Frankie needs a little bit of love. Nice to meet you all!!

G'day nayds, and welcome to the forum! As you can see, I've changed the title of the thread to reflect the details of your van, and have shifted your thread over to the Hall Of Fame section. You can just keep adding any info about your van into this thread. A couple of other members have Franklin Arrow vans, with some useful photos of the restoration work they did. You might like to have a read of those threads if you haven't already done so: 1976 Franklin Arrow 15ft - X739Franklin Arrow 1977 20ft - X7231You can see with the headings of those links that I can't make up my mind about whether the X-series of chassis numbers is 1976 or 1977. I chop and change depending on which way the wind is blowing , but it will be one or the other. Same with your "W" chassis number, which will be either 1975 or '76. cheers, Al.

Looks like a great Arrow. We've had ours since1974. Travelled all over the country. You're going to have the best time. And... cheap. Sooo good. Cheers Mike☆☆☆
