this is our 1978 viscount explorer (so I believe) have owned for 3 years have replaced flooring bench tops splash backs stone guard new paint on draw bar and rear bumper Attachments:

That's a nice looking van you have and should be fun for getting out and about. I have a 1978 supreme I have been doing up and I love these model vans. Good luck with the resto and if you need anything just give is a yell. My rebuild is under supreme78 if you are interested in my project. Regards

Hi supreme 78 Thanks for reply sorry for delay have been unwell for a while and poor old viscount 78 has not moved for 18 months and now I have discoverd rot in the roof so deciding now weather to restore or sell and get something newer

I love the shape of these vans, just have to be a little careful walking around inside.
How about sharing some inside shots.
Rot in caravans nothing unusual about that. A friend has just got his 7 year old caravan back from undergoing some major surgery to remove rot. A couple of years back we looked at a 12 month old one that had a problem too, at the time it was looking for its first owner. So if you go hunting for a newer one give it a real good once over to make sure it is ok.
