Hi, My user name is SLY53, I,m an old hotrodder who lives at Trunkey Creek N.S.W My name is Jeff & I have this old Millard Caravan I would like to Resurrect. It,s number welded on the drawbar is M26899. My query is can anyone tell me it,s approximate age? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

G'day Jeff, and welcome to the forum! I'd say roughly 1972 for your van. The guidelines I work to are that Millard was up to about chassis number M14000 by the start of 1970, and they were up to M45000 by the mid-1970s, so you kind of have to do some rough calculations between those two figures for the early 1970s years. I don't think you'd be too far off saying it was a 1972 model. cheers, Al.

Well looking at that and the number I would say late 72 early 73 is a good guess. Mine is 21006 and early 1971 by Al's reckoning. Different layout from mine I think with a double bed in the back rather than 2 singles. Pete
