Gday Buddaboy Nice rig. I had a 16 foot Travelhome about 20 years ago and it was a great old van. Mine had 2 single beds at the back and the table used to fold down to a double. Had plenty of fun camping with the kids Like your Falcon wagon (is it an XM or a XP) I also had a XM sedan many years ago in the 70s and it was a bullet proof car. Did well with buying it for $70 ,keeping it for 2 years and sold it for $85 As for the way old vans are measured...usually by the outside length of the cabin Cheers Andy

Hello guys, Good looking van - measured at the longest part - ie. external top "rolls" above the windows.
Nice looking XL / XM wagon ---- I would like to have another --- The last one I had was a XL that I transplanted a 289 V8 into.

I pulled a 16ft coronet up and down the east coast in the early '70's with the same type of ford (XM) up and down the moombies before it was modernised and never had a problem pulling up with drum brakes and cable over ride brakes. Don't forget if its a bog standard car its not gunna be that fast anyhow. love to get another one but the XM & XP's are out of my price bracket now
Pete
