Hi I photographed the rego plate and a few lights, curious as to why the indicator lights have a metal protector? is this original or an add on? I like the stars on the internal light so thought I would share. Any ideas folks? Sharon

Hi
Ive seen these covers over side clearance lights before, but never on rear indicator lights. I would expect the metal covers on clearance lights was to prevent the glass cover from being broken when brushing against things. I have seen clearance lights with plastic covers like those pictured at auto stores fairly recently...
Cheers

Hi Sharon
The metal covers were an after market add on that was all the fad a couple of years ago. they were suppose to do all sorts of wonderful things including protecting the lights, make em easier to see when the sun was shining down....
You can still buy them from reputable caravan accessory places.
