Well it looks like the rain is going to come back to Perth "BIG TIME " The Mob at B.O.M are predicting a mighty storm due to hit Perth this evening, In fact it's so big it will effect the entire West Coast from Exmouth in the North all the way down to Esperence on the South Coast. The Dooms Day prediction is for winds around 125kph, heavy rain around 100mm Lightning storms with hail, and flash flooding. I laughed this morning when I heard the warning as the sky was clear, not a puffy cloud in sight. It's now a different sight, the sun has long gone and the wind is starting to gust. These Pics may give an idea how quick the weather has changed here today.......... I hope all you Guys here in the West have anchored down your vans securely. kiwijim

Just make sure you don't send it over our way, kiwijim! We've had glorious weather over here for the past week or two or three (best time of the year, Autumn ), and we sure don't want it spoiled! Sounds like you WA-ers are about to get some caravan leak-testing weather. cheers, Al.

Sorry Al, But it looks like you guys may cop a lot of the wet stuff over this week-end. Going by the forecast our lousy weather is heading across the sand patch in a large (very wet ) front. Today was very wet here and blowing like there was no tomorrow. At the moment it's died down to a light drizzle but, there is another front approaching the West coast, due to hit around 10.00 pm tonight, They say it will be as bad as today with all the usual goodies, High wind, thunder, and another 50mm of rain. They were a bit out with the fore-casted 125 kph wind, we only managed to cop a bit over 100 kph. Tonight might make up for the loss though, as it heads..... EAST KIWIJIM ;D

Well Howdy there Young Fella, "Nup" I can say the Coromal is Water Proof, The Flamin thing wouldn't want to leak anywhere, after all the resealing that it has received over the Summer months. Last night around 10.00pm We copped a ripper Second Front of cold, very wet weather and very high winds, with plenty of lightening and thunder. The wind was so strong it bent our 8 x 10 steel Side gate inwards and wedged it inside the frame work, almost hitting the rear of our car, I had a hell of a job this morning levering it back out and re-enforcing it with 40x40 angle, sure hope there's no more wind like that, although it's lookin pretty black again right now and the rain has just started again. AS far as you Guys in the East copping it, I suppose the best thing would be for you lot to check your local B.O.M. It does look, from this side of the "Sand trap", that the worst of it may be veering off the Main Land and heading for Tassie , One things for sure, if it does head your way, You're sure going to know it. ;D ;D ;D Have a happy Week-end. kiwijim
