I think the one you are talking about is the Fuji Micro.
I have one, works fine except the start battery is kaput, came like that, starts fine by pulling on starter cord.
I dont think its up to the rated kva though

I purchased one about 3 months ago. Ordered a blue one and got a red with electric start, no reply to e-mails, so I kept it. Should have sent it back. It has a plastic bulb to pump the fuel to get the fuel to the carby. It took about 10 minutes of squeezing to get it to put enough fuel in the carby to start it. Turn it off and the same process is required.
Pulled the fuel pump out and finally got all the fuel pump to work better, (was full of dirt from somewhere, my fuel is clean) but now the carby will not hold the fuel for any period of time. It requires that it be pumped up each time you wish to use it even after about 2 minutes of being turned off. It was purchased as a back up to small honda one, should have got myself another honda or another known brand.
This is just my 2 cents worth. If it were not for the electric start it may have made it way to the dump as it requires a lot of rope pulling to get it started and by the time I can get it going I am fairly hot under the collar and wish I had saved my money. I may have just got a bad one, but the cost of returning it for warranty/repairs was not worth the effort as the seller would not reply to e-mails and has since gone missing.

Save yaself the time and inevitable grief and get a "brand" name genny, as even found second hand units more reliable than "new" chinese rubbish. The "rated" power output is actually the units peak output at a very light load. You will find a 4kva chinese chugger would be battling to produce an honest 2kva that it could run comfortably. Stick with the HONDA's etc. and you can't go wrong.
