G'day All, I've been alerted to a new magazine available either on-line or at Newsagents: time to roam australiaLooks like there's some interesting stories about old vans and caravanning in the old days. Don't know what the price of the mag is, but I guess it would be around the same price as the existing offerings of caravan mags. First issue is now on sale. cheers, Al. |

G'day mausie,
I've shifted your post over to this previous thread about the new magazine.
I went looking for the mag in our local Newsagents, but they hadn't heard of it. When I posted that info on the Vintage forum, another member replied:
It's no use checking newsagents - you won't find it there.
The editor of Time to Roam informed me that, "The magazine is free and available from caravan parks and tourist information centres, as well as through our advertisers." And also online of course.

I was going to go down the road to the local caravan park and see if they had a copy, but I haven't been yet.
The on-line version looks a bit of alright, but I had to shift the page on the screen from side to side to read it all clearly. After doing that for a few pages and a few articles, I got a bit fed up and wanted an actual magazine in my hands to make reading the stories easier.

Hi Al Thanks for shifting the information to the right spot on the forum  Go towards the back of the online version - it says $30 subscription. Mag comes out every 2 months. ;D I guess if you live near a C'van park you could waddle down if you knew when the new editions come out.
