I was in Bunnings the other day, When I went to leave I noticed that they had the B.B.Q. cooking away and a heap of people standing around happily munching on their bread rolls with a Snagger dripping tomato sauce all over the ground. I also noticed that not more than 3m away from the burners of the B.B.Q's was a couple of large crates full of 9kg gas bottles I mentioned this to the Bloke at the door, Ya know the one,...... that Guy who says "Good Morning Madam" ( with the "Couldn't give a hoot" ) look on his face, I said to him, Ain't you afraid that someone will come along and give one of the bottle taps a quick twist and walk off ? The whole place could go sky high before you know it !!! His reply, "NUP" not worried, hasn't happened yet ..... Well Hello, Obviously!! you're still here. Has any one else noticed how close these L.P.Gas cylinders are to the front door, B.B.Q's and sitting in the full Sun all day ? ? ? kiwijim

must be something different about the big green sheds on your side of the sand patch.. all the ones near me have a big separation between the bbqs and the gas bottle stock.
I guess they call it living on the edge.. ;D

Now in all fairness, I can't say this storing of Gas Bottles at the front door happens at every Green Shed.
It certainly does at the joint nearest to our home, that's the worry.
maybe a word with a Health inspector is in order, before they need a couple of freezer trucks to cart the stiffs away in.

Cruised into me local bunnings on Sunday, had a need to buy something hardwarey like.
As we walked in thru the door saw this not so young lady leaning over a wire cage at the entrance sucking down a smoke. She had the 'waiting for the partner to come out , couldn't go long without sucking down another smoke look' trouble was the wire cage she was leaning on was full of 9kg LPG bottles.
Now I know my place, so I went out of me way to mention to the door greeter, who bolted super fast outside and redirected her to the pole out of the way of LPG.
Wondered around for an hour or so came back out, sure nough she was still outside sucking down another.
Would have solved Masters oposition problems.. (Masters is across the road)
