G'day Bob, That's an interesting little camper trailer. What size is it when the canvas is fully opened up? I reckon you'd have to watch out for potholes with those itty bitty wheels. cheers, Al.

G'day Al, I agree the wheels are a bit on the small size 8inch rims, I think my ride on mower has bigger wheels Ran a tape over the van, 7foot long by 4 foot wide so when the lid comes over double that area and when the canvas comes over double that area again so a fairly large covered area from such a small pod. I don't know how much it weighs but is easily moved around by one person. Cheers Bob and Jacqui

Puts my little Dingo camper trailer to shame (queen bed and 2mx2m tent. Very similar to the Trak Shak concept except they are much bigger.

Hi bobandjacqui, I am the proud new owner of the Granada Camp Deluxe that you found in 2013. It's been christened George and is happy being towed behind my 1970 Beetle. George has been restored but I would love to see the photos of how he looked when you found him. I'm unable to open the photos that you originally posted, I'm new to this site so unsure how to proceed, hoping you csn help. Cheers Sally

G'day Sally, Great to see that you are enjoying that old camper. Brendan from Retro Caravans did an amazing job on the restoration. Sorry that the photos don't show anymore all because photobucket is trying to hold everyone that used the platform to ransom. If you want to give me your email we can send the photos to you.
Cheers Bob and Jacqui.

Hi Bob, it would be great if you could send me some photos. My email address is trainsally@yahoo.com.au.I'm going to put the camper on historic plates through my car club and have also been asked to take it to the inaugural vintage van muster at the Guyra Lamb and Potato Festival in a couple of weeks so it would be nice to have a bit of background. It certainly turns a lot of heads when it's travelling along behind the Beetle ! Cheers, Sally
