gidday kiwijim Sad that you have to dig into the archives to find good times. (Sunny ones is what I mean ;D) Lucky character that Teflon, 2 weeks off. Would love that right about now. Just love to get away somewhere for more then a couple of days. Retirement seems to be running rapidly away from me at the moment. Hey Teflon.. how was the fuel bill after that little drive with the head wind??

Hi Bob, The drive vehicle I have is a 91 GQ Patrol Wagon, ULP ( 427000 on the clock and never had a issue ), Motor is a 3.0 litre, Carby Job, electric fuel pump, 95 litre Tank. When I tow, the max speed I will do is 90 kmph. Just over a tank and 3/4 to get there. In saying that when we left fuel was $1.39 when we arrived $1.59. The bonus was, it turned out a guy who use to purchase parts from me when i was at South Corp 18 years ago, owns the fish and chip shop. scored a couple of cray fish for FREE one night ( small world ). If you have never been to kalbarri Bob, check it out mate, beautiful gorges and national parks, fantastic fishing spots, The caravan park we stayed in was in the heart of the town, across the road beaches and a beautiful veiw of the sunsets. The temp while we were there was always between 22 and 25 during the day, nights always between 11 and 13. Only 2 nights below 10

Yeah she is a beautiful place. We stayed at the Murchison Caravan park, people fantastic. Will have to admit though, in the 2and 1/2 weeks we were there.park was never maxed out, but for every one holiday maker that left another would roll in. Mostly Vics and Queenslanders chasing the warmth, a few NSW's. But the interesting thing, 70% were mainly in mobile homes. Went to Port Gregory .... that's a " village ' time forgot. Horrocks beach was a fantastic spot, we spent the day there. beautiful caravan park, peaceful and quiet, great beaches and fishing. Worst part about going on holidays is you know when it finishes it's back to work. I am going to tinker with photobucket on the weekend. Regards Teflon
