Greetings I am on the look out for some 70's - 80's travel stickers for the caravan rear window.I heard there was a shop at Daylesford VIC which sells memorabilia from that era. I will be travelling to Echuca next month and was hoping to detour Can somebody help steer me in the right direction ? Cheers Murray

G'day Murray, it will all come back to you when you read this thread from the Vintage forum. See Reply #12. Considering the info in the thread is from 2009, there's a phone number there that will allow you to check what the latest info is in regards to this shop. Let us know what you find out, and whether it's a good shop, if you end up going. cheers, Al.

G'day murray, that's a bit of a bummer, going all the way to Daylesford and finding they're no longer there. I had a bit of a search around the internet, and it seems they now operate out of the Daylesford Mill Markets. These "Mill Markets" operate in a number of different towns throughout Vic, including Daylesford. Click on this Facebook link and scroll down until you come to Sharon Develyn's post on Apr 22... www.facebook.com/pages/The-Mill-Markets/367582254759And this is the home page for the Mill Markets. Click on the Daylesford link at the top to go to the Daylesford markets. They haven't updated the details of stall-holders since Jan 2011, so I can't see the "Lost in the 50s" name there yet (they must have only moved recently? Bit weird the information centre didn't know where they'd gone?)... www.millmarkets.com.au/Locations.htmlI can't find them selling on ebay, but there's another ebay shop in Melbourne who has a few listed. Click on this link and go right to the bottom of page 1 and top of page 2... stores.ebay.com.au/Gardenvale-Collectables/_i.html?_nkw=1960%27s%20decal&rt=nc&_sid=73363886&_trksid=p4634.c0.m14.l1513&_pgn=1Listed at $15 buy-it-now plus $2.50 postage. I have no idea what the going rate is for these old stickers/decals/transfers, so I dunno whether those prices are good value or not. cheers, Al.

At $15 each plus freight thats pretty pricey. The most Ive paid in my collection is 7.00. Ive still got to dig the blighter's out from wherever they are hiding Mine are all of different towns in Australia, not footy ball ones. Dave

G'day Dave, some of the decals in the ebay shop are the typical tourist ones you used to be able to get in the old days. They do also show lots of footy decals as well, but you have to search through the list for the Bordertown, Cobar, Mount Gambier, etc ones. Where did you get yours from?? cheers, Al.
