Close enough Dave, Boonah Rathdowney Rd, Wallaces Creek area. Just after sunrise late May a year or so back. You come up a rise around a corner and start heading down the hill and that opens up in front of you. Just one of those things you have to take a photo of. It was beautiful and the fog looked like water

I have friends that live at Legume and so I go that way, over the teviot and past queen mary falls. Its a very narrow windy drive but its so beautiful, the air is so fresh, like driving throught the rain forest in some places.

So, back to you Dave ;D

When I first looked at the picture, I was wondering whether the tall peak on the left of the photo was Mt. Warning or not. But I had no idea about the location really, so you've done well to pick it.

Its infact the enterance to "The Hutt River Provence" in WA. !!Prince Leonard runs his Provence.

Anyway Doug, I think you were the closest guess, even though you were about 500kms from the right location (and what's 500k in WA?...NOTHING!! )

AND...I could have sworn I saw that same fella in Dave's photo at the El Caballo Ranch! (even though I've never been there... )

No Al its not Caboolture River .... from memory its around 150 km from my place

Heres another shot ... so you will know when you find it!!



This shot is nearly identical to the Google maps photo

And I thought I was giving away a great clue by referencing the Monaro Club - I thought how easy to go to the club website and see what was on the 7th August ... but I just checked and its not there
