Welcome thehohars, thanks for shareing your re fit of your classic! For me the joy of this forum is the passion of playing with things. If someone has a pristine classic then re inventing it is sad. If like your project it is "open book" then already a salute to moving windows around, to get better air flow and put in the shower.
Great to see and in the future your journey will show others with less experience, how and why certain modifications are made to improve or customise purpose. This is something we do not know if our own project is our first or we have limited camping expertise.
Just because something was originally made "that way" does not mean that in 2018 owners need to repeat or not improve some functions.

Hot water is Truma, not cheap, we have that it our camper and it is the best small 14ltr holding tank gas hot water system. Much better that the Suburban as there is no upkeep/maintenance with it. Sureflow pump google it as there are so many different prices. We bought ours from Coast to Coast. |

I too will be there with my 101, hoping to beat Corowa a few years back when we had 6 there. I know of 4 that will be there for sure, hoping there will be some ring ins too. 👍
