Hi
Can you please advise on what tyre pressure I should have in my Chessney Kampa. It has 13" rims with light truck tyres. Someone told me 54psi but not sure
cheers

no to much a good 35 - 36 with truck tyres they will stand even up to 40 over that and it will destroy it self along all your stuff inside, truck tyres have a stiff wall and will flex enough to soften the ride

Gday MarkBrissy, ;D greedy53 is right in his comments above about light 'truck tyres. The "54psi" that 'someone' told you could be correct if they were radial ply tyres which have much more flexible walls. Our '8ply rated' radials on our van are being run at 55psi and appear to be fine. Prior to these, we had tyre wall cracking with great potential for sudden blowouts when running those tyres at 40psi. We replaced them with the current ones... at the higher pressure. (Our 16ft van weighs about a tonne). Cheers ;D mike

Max PSI and Load rating should be marked on the sidewall of the tyre.........but usually in VERY small writing. If you can't find it, call your local tyre dealer with the details of the tyres you are running and they should be able to research it for you.
REMEMBER........all tyres are different in make, size and brands. I have 195r14 LT tyres on my car trailer that run at 45 psi max, whereas the tiny 155R13LT's on the vintage van run at 66 psi !
