Hey Chris, I just bought a 1972 Franklin Regent 12ft, not as good condition as yours, anyway I am about to renew rego but has no detail of the GVM on the papers. Are you able to advise what the GVM is?

Ok. The egg has felt rather neglected for the past couple of years. She's been sitting idle in the carport, gathering dust while life got in the way of caravan trips. No longer, I say! To get ready for the trip, the van has already been to the doctor to get the bearings repacked and the brakes checked. The front window had a small leak last time we used it (mind you, the rain was so heavy there was a risk of floating away), so the windows and frames got removed, cleaned and resealed. The van needed a good scrub to clean off the detritus that'd built up. And the trip will be back to where we first took the van - to Bright in north east Victoria. From the side it didn't look that dirty. From the front it looked a little worse. The roof was filthy. Getting a good bathing. Back into the shed, ready for anything. Those window eyebrows are sharp!

Ouch - that's a nasty cut there! You wouldn't want to do that too often, hey?! The van has come up looking pretty good after the washdown. All spic and span ready for the next time out. cheers, Al.
