Hi everyone, just joined tonight as I am doing a reno on a 1997 Road Master pop top and am looking for plastic moulding sources. I started reading this thread about stickers and it just so happens I run my own sticker company called Down Under Stickers. I use a vinyl cutter that can cut up to 610mm wide rolls, I can not print onto vinly so if you are happy to have the different colours used on some stickers to be layered then I can help you guys out. I also have general stickers on my website that you might like to look at under the caravaning category. Have a look if you like and feedback or suggestions would be good, thanks www.downunderstickers.com I am based in Maryborough Qld.

Wow, its about time I checked back in, been away doing other things. But great find with that website Griswalds, gives me more incentive now to give our old girl a new paint job and order some classy decals to finish her off!

G'day kingsnew, your best bet is to ask the same question on our sister forum for caravans built before 1970: Vintage caravans forumYou can also have a read of their history thread for the Globetrotter vans: Globetrotter historyGlobetrotter owners have had the sign repainted by a signwriter, or they've had them reproduced in vinyl stickers. cheers, Al.

wow loving this forum, every time I visit I learn something new...seems like I can get new Viscount Valiant stickers from rvstickers.com.au!
A little pricier than expected but we dont exactly have many options. Will save the link for when its time for finishing touches!

Looking through this and the VV forum, i have not seen anyone posting, who used to work for any printeries that supplied the various manufacturers. I was pondering the Franklin Arrow & other foil stock decals and guessing they were done in 4-6 passes on a T platern, over silver foil. My faded Arrow looks like 2 passes of gold 1 x white & 1 x black, then another to gloss and maybe an extra to die cut. I found some stock but curiously, as a Litho ( offset) printer, where i did my time we always used the old crunch & spray (letterpress)devices as the litho (offset) process would take ages to dry and then just scratch off. So a chuckle to see the current generation mob recommend offset for this, yeah better than inkjet but still a very temporary and fragile sticker when all is said and done. www.blanklabels.com.au/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=94 NOTE: Since my time in the 1970-80s modern spirit based fountain solutions & UV drying would improve the results, but being done on those larger presses would cost a motza to do a small run.
