Anyone used Polycarb/Plexiglass/Perspex as a replacement for windows and how did it perform, thickness would be 3mm and my largest panel would be 150cm x 55cm
..i've read some old threads on here but hoping for some more recent feedback..thanks in advance.

Hi Hillbilly, I used poly carbonate in my very scenic Viscount, 18 windows, (see link below) I figured I saved over 200kg in weight, judging from historical weights & my actual renovation weight. Also we used it in the rear of our Sunliner. We never had scratch issues, I can highly recommend the Acrycast Product, BUT in all cases the local supplier cut the panels for me. I used clear for historical purposes but tint is also available.

Did you use 3mm or thicker?..the 3mm would look a bit distorted i think..the thicker the better for a more rigid look?

Late to the party but I replaced all the windows in my Viscount with Polycarbonate as well - just 3mm, but the largest panel was only around 250mm high - I have the long thin windows in mine - looks great and saved a heap of weight.

Where do you source these replacements? Do they come made to your sizes need or is it a universal size that you cut down yourself to suit?
