Hi everyone. I'm a brand newbie to caravanning. In fact, my caravan hasn't even arrived yet. I've just struck a deal to buy a 1976 11ft York. I'm itching to get it trucked down to me so I can start getting on with updating it and prepping for travel. One of the things I've been wondering about is how I can deal with my food waste on the road. I'm very involved in my local food system, so food production and food waste are important to me. Firstly, I'd like to hear how others deal with their perishable food waste on the road. Secondly, I've just added my home to the ShareWaste website. This seems like the perfect resource for travellers to refer to when they are looking for ways to dispose of their compostable food waste. Has anyone ever used it either to dispose of waste or receive it? Feel free to look me up in Moruya, NSW if you're passing through (or staying for a while! you should) and need a compost bin.
