I have recently bought a 1976 viscount 16ft caravan, we are based in Victoria. Is it easy to get a replacement awning? Looking for new/second hand or have one made?

Welcome to the forum, 😊👍 A 76 should have a bit of sail track attached to the roof, so depends on how original you want it. I’ve got a plain white awning that I used on my Franklin which just slots into the sail track and then gets held up by 4 poles with ropes. Got it off eBay for a couple of hundred dollars. You can have new awnings made that are more period correct but not sure from where - I will be looking into this myself at some point. My 69 Viscount currently has Marconi Rail which is a different kettle of fish and something I’ll be changing at some stage. A couple of pics of your pride and joy would also go down a treat if you’re able. 👍 EDIT - like this one (I think from this very supplier) - www.ebay.com.au/itm/Caravan-RV-4-0-x-2-5m-Awning-Annexe-Motorhome-SunShade-White-PVC-100-Waterproof/131422157594?hash=item1e995efb1a:g:OIcAAOSwe~lcGEka
